Jacob Hayes
My name is Jacob Hayes and I am entering my first year with Lamplighter as a Junior. Some of the things I do outside of Lamplighter are that I play Baseball for Dunbar, I am a member of the Dunbar Student Council, and I am a Lector at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

 

My Dad is a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer and my Mom is a nurse who was editor of her high school newspaper her Senior Year at Lafayette. I have one brother named Matthew who is in law school at the University of Kentucky. I also have a one-eyed cat that I rescued from the Lexington Humane Society.

 

I am very excited to join Lamplighter this year and am looking forward to being able to present my ideas, thoughts, and arguments through writing. I am eagerly anticipating being able to work with a great staff to be able to produce excellent content.
