Jacob Hayes, Sports Writing Editor

Hi, my name is Jacob Hayes and this year I am a senior. This is my second year being part of PLD Lamplighter and I am our Sports Writing Editor. As time has gone on, my love for journalism has grown larger and larger and I am considering pursuing a career in the field after high school. I am involved in multiple clubs at Dunbar including Student Council, Senior Executive Board, and some others. I enjoy participating in all of my extracurricular activities and I am passionate about volunteering to help those in need in our community. I’m excited to be our Sports Writing Editor this year and am looking forward to working with our entire staff to make the torch burn as bright as possible!
