Toy Donations for Children’s Hospital
Students in STLP ask that all donations be delivered to the PLD library by December 7th.
Dunbar’s Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) is kicking off the giving season by hosting a Toy Drive. Starting in remembrance of a former student, Jesse Higginbotham, who was killed in a car accident in 2007, his friends decided to start collecting toys for the hospital as a way to remember him.
An ambulance from the University of Kentucky hospital will be in the Dunbar parking lot for new unwrapped gifts to be donated to the Toy Drive. These toys will then be brought back to the UK hospital to be distributed to the kids this holiday season.
