I am Jaila Garvin and I am a junior here at Dunbar. I've been in PLD Lamplighter for 2 years, but this is my first year on staff. I enjoy being on camera and editing. I started working with production in middle school. I was an anchor for the school news program and my class was the first to start this program at the middle school. When I came to Dunbar, I was interested in continuing studio and production classes. This led me to join PLD Lamplighter. My goal for PLD Lamplighter this year is to gain more followers on our social media platforms. This will be a great way to get more students involved with what is going on around the school. A fun fact about me is that I am a part of Leaders in the Making.
