I’m Landon, I’m a staff reporter, and I’ve been at Lamplighter for 3 years.

I’ve always loved to write, it’s been one of my hobbies ever since I was a little kid. Back then I would just write about the daily events of my life or rant about my brother. But now that I’m older, I want to become more serious about my writing. I want to be able to speak my mind, and I feel like writing is how I can do that best. That’s why I joined PLD Lamplighter.

Some things about me are that I want to go into sports media, probably journalism but broadcasting is an option too. I joined PLD Lamplighter hoping that it would help me gain the skills necessary for that career. As you can tell from my major, I love sports, my favorite teams being UK and the Green Bay Packers. My favorite type of music is classic rock, but I’m open to pretty much any other kind of music.

My goal for this year is to improve my writing and broadcasting skills, make an overall positive impact on my school and my community, and make my final year at Dunbar a great one!
