PLD Book Club Loves Nicholas Sparks
PLD’s Book Club will meet on Jan. 23 after school in the library.
Mrs. Summer Perry’s monthly book club, open to all Dunbar students, will discuss a Nicholas Sparks book during the club meeting on Jan. 23. The meeting is open to anyone whether they’ve read every Nicholas Sparks book, just a few, or even only half of one.
“We don’t judge,” said Mrs. Perry.
Nicholas Sparks is an American novelist and one of the world’s most beloved storytellers. Each of his books have been New York Times bestsellers, with over 105 million copies sold worldwide.
The book club is a way for students with similar interests to come together and discuss their favorite novels. Free snacks will be provided.
If you don’t own a Nicholas Sparks novel, Mrs. Perry has a wide selection of titles offered in the library. Some popular Nicholas Sparks novels include “The Notebook,” “Safehaven,” “A Walk to Remember” and “Dear John.”
