PLD Drama Preparing to Bring It On
Dunbar’s Drama department, led by Mrs. Alicia Henning and Mrs. Brooke Jackson, is in rehearsals for the Spring Musical.
Bring It On
The drama department is currently rehearsing Bring It On, a musical based on the film franchise of the same name that features elements of cheer, hip-hop and rap.
“We have a different rehearsal every day whether it’s stunting, blocking or learning dance numbers,” said junior Kaden Gaylord.
Performances of Bring it On will be at 7 p.m. from April 26-29 and at 2 p.m. from April 29-30. Tickets are $10 for students and $12 for adults.
Senior Showcase
Dunbar’s first annual Senior Showcase will be held at 6 p.m. on May 12 in the auditorium as an opportunity for seniors in the drama department to showcase everything they’ve learned and worked hard on over the last four years.
“We get one, maybe two, shows a year to showcase our talents and the seniors work pretty hard, so I’m excited to share that with the Dunbar community,” said Courtney Brewer, a producer and performer of the event.
