My name is Sydney Nicole Cobb and I am a senior at Dunbar. This is my first year in lamplighter and I hope to spend it taking pictures of games and events, and talking/writing about sports. I am also very passionate about topics like LGBT politics and issues affecting women and hope to write about them.

Aside from Lamplighter, I am the president of PLD’s Gay Straight Alliance, and am in both Chamber Choir and PLD Major, as well as Musical Theater.

When I’m not doing school work or having rehearsals, I like to spend my free time cheering on my favorite football team, chilling with my choir buds, or watching Bones with my two kitties.

While I may only have a year left, I hope to make the most of it by writing on things I care about alongside all the new friends I’ve made in lamplighter!
