It’s Always Illuminating
Running a school newspaper and broadcast isn’t easy, but the staff of PLD Lamplighter makes it work. Every week, there are new stories and a new broadcast, but that also means new challenges.
At PLD Lamplighter, we have a tiny studio. I mean tiny. In fact, the studio-classroom hybrid’s front door opens straight into our recording space. You can see how this might be frustrating when we’re recording anchors each week.
We don’t have a fancy “on air” sign, so we put a note on the door that says: “Recording–Do Not Enter.” It never fails, though, that we’re interrupted at least once and have to start the filming all over again!
This week’s comic shows how our broadcast editors, Cristina and Rohan, try not to go crazy while filming!
