Hannah Chambliss, Writing Editor
My name is Hannah Chambliss and I’m on the Editorial Board as well as writing editor. One of my favorite things to do is write. I’ve been writing ever since I knew how to spell. Reading and writing have always been my strong subjects. When I need to rant or have brilliant ideas, I make a new document and start writing. When I joined Lamplighter last year I knew exactly what I wanted to do, writing. I can remember the first day of class when last years ED Board was introducing themselves and the writing editor said her name and what she did. She inspired me to write and want this position. One of my articles, Not just Hollywood: The Culture of Harassment in Schools, won first place out of 14,000 schools in the USA.
When I’m not writing, I’m normally spending time with my three cousins or playing with my dog. I love eating Italian and Japanese food.
I’m so excited about this year and what my team will accomplish!
