North Texas v. Utah State

On Dec. 15, North Texas played Utah State in the New Mexico Bowl. Utah State dominated with a score of 52-13, landing seven touchdowns and a field goal to beat North Texas’ two touchdowns. Utah State successfully executed eight kicks, while North Texas managed to get one of two. The passing leaders were #10 Jordan Love for Utah State going 21/43 for 359 yards, 4 touchdowns and an interception, and #17 Kason Martin for North Texas going 7/12 for 110 yards and a touchdown. The rushing leaders were #8 Gerold Bright with 16 touches for 103 yards and 2 touchdowns for Utah State and #4 Anthony Wyche with 7 touches for 53 yards for North Texas. The receiving leaders were #21 Jalen Greene with 6 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown for Utah State and #9 Jalen Guyton with 4 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown for North Texas. Defensive leaders were #9 David Woodward for Utah State with an interception and 7 solo and 3 assisted tackles and #22 E.J. Ejiya for North Texas with 5 solo and 3 assisted tackles.
