The senior class sponsors are now taking applications for 2015 poet laureate. If you are interested in presenting an original poem at graduation, the application is due by 3:30 p.m. on April 23. The winner will receive $250 and will read the poem aloud at Rupp Arena during the graduation ceremony on May 29. Applications are available through all senior English teachers.

In addition, the PLD library will be holding a workshop for potential applicants from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on April 16. Dunbar creative writing teachers, Mr. Egan and Mrs. Wilkinson, will be on hand to assist students with their poems.
