PLD’s Career Fair a Success
On Feb. 25, students were able to check out different careers from community professionals.

Students interested in dentistry were able to take a look at the tools of the trade.

A veterinary clinic came to help students see what they do and how to get a job working with animals.

Dunbar alumnus, Courtney Brewer, is now a reporter at WYMT. She spoke to students about a career in broadcast journalism.

Students were able to spend time at different booths during the fair. They used “passports” and received stickers for each booth visited.

Students in various CTE programs were able to check out career fields in the gym where 28 professions were represented.

One of the many STEM booths showed students a pathway to a job in the tech industry.
