Make a Coupon Book
A coupon book is a fun gift to make for your sweetheart. There are many different “coupons” you could make. Some ideas for different coupons include an ice cream date, a movie or a free car wash.
For this project, you will need colored paper, scissors, pens, a hole-puncher, yarn and creativity.
Turn Your Home into a Movie Theater
A movie night at home is an inexpensive way to have alone time with your significant other.
You can head to your local Redbox and pick out a movie together, or if renting a movie isn’t for you, new television shows and movies have recently been added to Netflix.
Fast Food With Your Valentine
Some restaurants are doing special promotions for Valentine’s Day.
For example, Chick-Fil-A will be serving chicken nuggets and chicken minis in a heart-shaped container.
Bring Out Your Inner Chef
A simple dinner at home can mean just as much as a fancy dinner downtown. It’s a cheaper option, and your valentine will be impressed that you took the time and made the effort to cook a dinner just for them. There are many ways to make this more personal and heartfelt as well. For example, you could set out flowers, light candles or even set up a “picnic” in your house.
Capture the Moment With a Picture Collage
If you’re looking for an easy craft to make for your loved one, a picture collage is a thoughtful gift to make. It is also a great way to reminisce on memories that you have made together.
