Fall Treat: Cinnamon Apples
Cinnamon apples are a delicious treat to go perfectly along with the fall season
These make a delicious side dish or dessert! They are easy to make and perfect for fall.
TOTAL TIME: 15 Minutes
SERVES: 4-6 People
Ingredients:
* 8 apples, cored and chopped
* ½ cup brown sugar
* ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
* ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
* ¼ cup butter
* 2 tablespoons water
Materials:
* Knife
* Teaspoon/tablespoon measures
* Plastic bag
* Skillet or pan
* Wooden spoon
Directions:
1. Wash and skin apples
2. Slice apples thinly
3. Combine apple slices, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in plastic bag
4. Shake until apples are completely coated
5. Put water, butter, and apples into skillet
6. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes, or until spice mixture is solidified; stir often
7. Enjoy with ice cream or as a side dish!
