Last Friday, Nov. 8, the Ice Rink in downtown Lexington’s Triangle Park opened for business. For $10, you can enter the rink, get skates and enjoy 90 minutes of skating time on the ice. You may bring your own skates if you’d like to, but the skates there are available for no extra cost. As an added bonus, as soon as Lexington puts up its official Christmas tree, you can skate in its glow while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate from the Main Cross Café.

The rink will be open from on Monday-Friday 4-9 PM, Saturday 10 AM-10 PM, and Sunday 1-10 PM. It’s also important to note that when Fayette County Schools aren’t in session, the rink will be extending its hours— Monday- Friday from 10 AM- 10 PM.  However, the rink will only be open until early January, so make sure to check it out while you still have time!
