Florida v. Michigan

As we conclude this years season of football it comes down to a top 10 battle between #10 Florida and #7 Michigan in the Chick-Fil-A Peach bowl. This is a big bowl game for both teams as this is a New Year’s six bowl game and whoever comes out on top will end their season a for sure top 10 team in the country. Both teams come into the game with different mindsets. Michigan comes in hoping to take away the loss they took to rival Ohio State in a 62-39 blowout. While Florida, is looking to continue their ways as they are on a 3 game win streak. Both Quarterbacks didn’t play well but one played more efficient than the other as Florida’s Feleipe Franks threw 13/23 for 173 yards and 2 touchdowns (1 passing, 1 rushing) and a QBR rating of 72.5. While Shea Patterson struggled with a very aggressive Florida defense as he threw 22/36 for 236 yards 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions with a QBR Rating of 32.7. Florida wasn’t just smarter in the passing game but they had their way in the running game as #25 Jordan Scarlett and #22 LaMical Perine combined for 15 carries for 135 yards and both had a touchdown each. Florida’s #23 Chauncey Gardner-Johnson was a key player as he won the game’s Defensive Player of the Game and he had 5 total tackles and 4 solo tackles with 2 interceptions and he returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown. Florida at the end of it all gave Michigan another blowout loss and Florida wins 41-15 to win the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl and for sure stay in the Top 10 at the end of the season.
