Nevada v. Arkansas State

On December 29th, Nevada and Arkansas State met at the Arizona Stadium to face off in the Arizona bowl. After the game was taken to overtime, Nevada came out on top for a 16-13 win. Nevada’s #6 Ty Gangi threw for 200 yards a touchdown and 2 interceptions. Arkansas State’s #15 Justice Hansen threw for 275 yards and 3 interceptions. The leading rushers were #6 Warren Wand for Arkansas State with 16 touches for 140 yards and #35 Toa Taua for Nevada with 22 touches for 56 yards. The leading receivers were #85 Ben Putnam for Nevada with 4 catches 114 yards and #7 Omar Bayless for Arkansas State with 7 catches for 129 yards. The defensive leaders were #32 Tajhea Chambers with 8 solo and an assisted tackle and #23 Jomon Dotson with an interception 6 solo and an assisted tackle.
