LSU v. UFC

No. 11 Tigers start the new year ending No. 8 Knights winning streak. For many people, New Year’s is about quitting old habits and leaving them in the old year. However, not everyone started off the year on a positive note, including the UFC Knights, who left their 25 game win streak back in 2018. Passing leader Joe Burrow played his best game running a total 394 yards for the Tigers, which is more than UFC’s Marlon Williams’ 23 yards and Darriel Mack Jr.’s 97 yards combined. The Knights star quarterback McKenzie Milton remained on the sidelines due to a knee injury obtained earlier in the season, however, LSU was down seven defensive starters going into the game, turning into nine before half time due to ejections, and still came out on top. The Tigers left the Playstation Fiesta Bowl as champions, with a score of 40-32.
