Senior Class Sponsors Provide Graduation Information

All senior fees are due by May 18. Graduation practice will be held at 8:30 a.m. at Dunbar with breakfast following. Graduation will be at Rupp Arena at 7:30 p.m. however students are required to be there no later than 6:30 p.m.

For those who missed the meeting on May 11, the senior class sponsors Mrs. Debra Reaguer and Mrs. Sarah Lubbe spoke about the final steps for graduating seniors.

Graduation rehearsal will be held at Dunbar on May 19. After 11:30 all seniors will not be permitted in the building and will be asked to leave. Due to this finality, all lockers and personal belongings should be collected no later than May 18. Practice is mandatory and will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the breakfast will start at 10:30 a.m. Failure to attend rehearsal will result in an absence in seat and diploma at graduation. If there is a specific unavoidable conflict, seniors must contact Ms. Rains and have it approved prior to May 17. The vast size of feeding the senior class is an issue and help is needed for set up/clean up as well as the donation of food items. If able to help, sign up here.

Graduation will be held at Rupp Arena on May 24 at 7:30 p.m. Graduates must arrive no later than 6:30 p.m. to be able to walk. Due to the leaving Lafayette graduation party, please consider traffic when planning departure times. Students should report directly to the Manchester St. Parking lot and show their graduation gown to receive free parking. There will be thorough body searches performed and once inside there will be no place for personal item storage. Any disruptive behavior while receiving the diploma will result in removal from the graduation video, which can be preordered from now until May 19.

The senior delinquency list will be posted on Monday, May 15 outside the guidance office. Failure to resolve outstanding fees will result in the inability to walk at the graduation ceremony. Seniors must resolve all library, cafeteria and textbook fees by Thursday, May 18.

Additional information will be available on the forms available for pick-up in the guidance office or from Mrs. Reaguer (room 405) and Mrs. Lubbe (room 407).
